I wonder if these structures grew over time or some engineer somewhere planned this from the beginning? I have tinted the image as can be seen by the sky colour which helps to bring together all the elements

These images are of the Coghlan substation in North East Langley. It was part of the B.C.E Railway and provide power to the trains that traveled from New Westminster to Chilliwack south of the Fraser River. This section was completed around 1910 and carried it’s last passengers in September 1950.

Here is an example of another one of the processing tools built into the Pentax K-7. You can select a particular color to remain while all the other hues are desaturated to shades of grey.

Just a quick snap shot with my Sony DSC-V3 processed in Lightroom to create a split toned effect. It allows me to have my visual cake and eat it too. What I mean is that it indulges my desire to have some colour, yet is more like a BW print with heightened contrast. And it’s easy to bake too.
