World Pentax Day

It’s not an actual holiday unfortunately but it is a community event where every one with a Pentax digital camera is encouraged to take a picture and upload it to http://www.pentaxforums.com/gallery/pentaxium-world-pentax-day-february-2011/

Here are a few I took today for the occasion.  P.S. I had to wait for a very long train.

    i really like the telephone pole shot. it says something .

    Thanks, I saw the dilapidated pole while I was waiting for the train. I could have moved to eliminate the tree from the shot but I decided that I liked the disorder of the bare tree branches echoing the state of the pole. I purposely shot at f4 which is the widest aperture for that lens. SMC A 70-210.
