{"id":3201,"date":"2011-06-02T09:00:59","date_gmt":"2011-06-02T16:00:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wkoopmans.ca\/notebook\/?p=3201"},"modified":"2011-06-01T21:20:27","modified_gmt":"2011-06-02T04:20:27","slug":"palette-not-pallet-or-palate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wkoopmans.ca\/notebook\/?p=3201","title":{"rendered":"Palette not pallet or palate."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I use disposable palettes, you know those waxy tear off sheets.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t lay out my paints in any consistent way and I placed my bird feeder where the cat to bird ratio would be the highest.\u00a0 OK now that I have those things off my chest maybe I should explain.\u00a0 I have a wooden palette that I made probably 20 years ago when I thought you needed to have one to be a painter but\u00a0no longer\u00a0use it.\u00a0What I do\u00a0use\u00a0are the\u00a0disposable ones and the main reason is that I work on more than one painting at a time and I often use different colours.
