My Scott McFarland moment

I snapped two photos of this street recently and decided to include all the people into one image after the fact.  It alters the sense of how we occupy the same spaces but at different times.  With a little forethought I would have taken even more images.  This technique could just as easily be used to remove people.  This is a crop from the center of the image but the overall resolution is relatively low anyway as the negatives are just 35mm captures with an Olympus XA.

I love this technique, I wish I had the perseverance to try it. Maybe next year. By the way, thanks (partially) to you and your enthusiasm for film cameras I am now the proud owner of a Pentax K1000. Now I just need to spend some time reading. I don’t even know which film to buy 🙂

In my opinion the cheaper the better. At first any film will do even out of date film. The K1000 is a great film camera, no bells or whistles just you and the image.
