{"id":8256,"date":"2013-04-18T08:39:41","date_gmt":"2013-04-18T15:39:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wkoopmans.ca\/notebook\/?p=8256"},"modified":"2013-04-18T08:39:41","modified_gmt":"2013-04-18T15:39:41","slug":"diptychs-on-film","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/wkoopmans.ca\/notebook\/?p=8256","title":{"rendered":"Diptychs on film"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Taking two pictures that go together is an added challenge that I enjoy.\u00a0 Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn&#8217;t.\u00a0 I tried this previously here <a href=\"http:\/\/wkoopmans.ca\/notebook\/?p=6006\">Diptychs<\/a>\u00a0also using the <a href=\"http:\/\/wkoopmans.ca\/notebook\/?p=6028\">Yashica Samurai <\/a>because it&#8217;s half frame and runs the film vertically like a movie camera. This allows\u00a0 images to be stacked right on the negative.\u00a0 This is different from almost every other\u00a035mm camera of course because their film runs horizontally through the camera.<\/p>\n<p>As I wrote on a napkin previously you need to take the lower image first because of the way the film\u00a0travels and\u00a0 the\u00a0inversion of the image\u00a0through the lens.<span
