{"id":6702,"date":"2012-09-19T07:35:28","date_gmt":"2012-09-19T14:35:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wkoopmans.ca\/notebook\/?p=6702"},"modified":"2012-09-17T21:35:42","modified_gmt":"2012-09-18T04:35:42","slug":"theres-a-little-black-spot-on-the-sun-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/wkoopmans.ca\/notebook\/?p=6702","title":{"rendered":"There&#8217;s a little black spot on the sun today&#8230;."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Actually it&#8217;s more like a black hole sun on my Fuji instant print.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve never seen this before but I believe it&#8217;s solarization.\u00a0 A quick look through my 1978 edition of\u00a0 <strong><em>The Manual of Photography <\/em><\/strong>explains that at a certain point of the exposure curve of a negative the density actually starts to decrease.\u00a0 It also suggests that the exposure required is\u00a0&#8220;<em>commonly on the order of magnitude of\u00a0 one-thousand times greater than normal<\/em>&#8221;\u00a0.
